Today we work through some news—actually some good news, which is always nice. I also dive back into the auction draft with a look at a team whose draft was emblematic of an approach we've been talking about, and how you want to avoid it.

Pete takes a look at a relatively high stakes auction draft from Saturday the 24th.

Deep league.

• 12 Bench spots
• .5 PPR scoring
• $200 auction budget
• $100 FAAB for in-season (no carryover)

Drafting from the 12th Spot

At last!

We've completed our mocking exercise. At the 12-spot, we leaned into the RBs and took a robust swing.

Drafting From the 11th Spot

We're nearing the end of this 12-part exercise. 

In stage 11, we went ZERO RB and took 5 consecutive receivers. I'll try a more traditional approach from the 12 if I can. Wanted to show you all a few ways to approach the later slots.

Nice little build here, from the 1.10, though there was some stress along the way.

Drafting From the 9 Spot

We're back again. This time from the 1.09 and we finally were unable to steal Bijan, so we have WR start, which is good.

We're back! This time drafting from the 1.08. I like how this one came out, but we cannot count on all these guys falling to us. Still, when they do, we snatch 'em up!
